Top 3 Things To Do on the Crystal Coast over the Easter Holiday Weekend

We hope you're plCrystal Coast Vacationanning to be here this weekend during the Easter holiday (and beyond). In addition to sun, sand and surf we have some other ideas for things to do during your Crystal Coast vacation.

As always there are a lot of options when it comes to activities, attractions and area festivities. We have a few of our local favorites and here they are. We hope to see you at one or all of them!

Top 3 Things To Do on the Crystal Coast this Easter Holiday Weekend:

  1. It is Easter after all, so an egg hunt is in order. You can head over to the Beaufort Historic Site at 11a.m. this Saturday, April 19 for the annual Beaufort Easter Egg Hunt on the town's historic grounds. It's geared for children ages 7 and under and offers lots of eggs, great prizes and refreshments, too. It's free and all you need to do is bring a basket. Another option for that day is the Morehead City Easter Egg Hunt and Family 1 Mile Walk and Fun Run in Rotary Park. The egg hunt is for ages 12 and under and begins at 9:30a.m. and is followed by the fun walk/run at 10a.m. No pre-registration is required, so just bring the family and join in the festive fun.
  2. Join in an Earth Day celebration. That's right, Easter is coming up and so is Earth Day. The official date for Earth Day is April 22, but the Earth Day Celebration at Fort Macon State Park in Atlantic Beach is happening this Saturday, April 19 from 10a.m. to 3p.m. Enjoy learning more about how to care for the coastal land, sea and air with fun and educational activities. There's music, live animals and so much more. It's all free!Dolphin Watching on the Crystal Coast
  3. Set sail on a Sunday Brunch with the Dolphins Cruise. The Crystal Coast Lady departs from the Beaufort waterfront on Sunday, April 20 at 11a.m. for a fully narrated tour and dolphin cruise along the calm inland waters. Sit back with a mimosa in hand (it's complimentary for those 21 and over), watch the graceful dolphins as they make their way through the Crystal Coast waters, and take in the gorgeous views. The Sunday brunch buffet offers a delectable feast for your dining pleasure. Adult tickets are $30, tickets for children ages 3-11 are $20, and children ages 2 and under are admitted free-of-charge.

These are our recommendations for the weekend, but there are plenty more things to do no matter your age or interest. Visit the Crystal Coast event calendar anytime you're here to see what's happening locally. Subscribe to our Sun-Surf Realty weekly blog and we'll keep you informed, too!

Enjoy the holiday weekend and let us know what's on your agenda. We'd love to hear from you!
