Why It's a Chocolate Lover's Paradise

With event highlights that go beyond just the decadent Chocolate Festival itself, it's easy to see why this event is dubbed a chocolate lover's paradise. There's the Chocolate Fantasy Challenge, Cocoa 5k/Fun Run, and the Chocolate Spa, oh my, as well as Pro-Am competitions, a cakewalk and so much more.

There is literally chocolate, chocolate everywhere. You'll find chocolate vendors galore tempting you everywhere you look. Celebrating Charity & Chocolate

Chocolate isn't the only thing celebrated here. Charity is the foundation of this event. The Carolina Chocolate festival is a charitable organization, which was the brainchild of the late John Green, who had the vision of partnering local non-profit agencies together, hand-in-hand, to organize an event where they all could reap the benefits, all while enjoying luscious chocolate. Over the past twelve years the festival has donated over $430,000 to these local charities, in addition to scholarships to area high school seniors.

  • Carteret County Domestic Violence
  • Beaufort Sister Cities
  • Revive Student Ministries
  • Second Blessings Community Outreach
  • Carteret County 4-H
