Veterans Day Parade
November 11, 2017

Veterans Day is celebrated on November 11 each year and marks the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended World War I hostilities between the Allied Forces and Germany in 1918. As you know, Veterans Day honors and thanks all who have served this country. So how can you best celebrate the day and honor our veterans while vacationing on the Crystal Coast? We're glad you asked. Make the short drive over to Morehead City for the annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday November 11, 2017 from 11a.m. to 1p.m. on Arendell Street in downtown. Come early to find your spot and show your support and appreciation for those who've sacrificed their time to serve and protect our country. Each year the Morehead City Veterans Parade brings together over 2,000 people, including veterans, current military members, marching bands, classic cars, Boy and Girl Scouts and more. Our Carteret County Veterans always appreciate the love and show of support.
