Friday Free Flicks: TrollsEmerald Isle Community Center

Free Friday Flick movies are family oriented. This local favorite is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Popcorn and drink are available for just $1.00. Please bring chairs and or blankets, no outside beverages or snacks. Movie starts at 7p.m. See you there!
2017 Emerald Isle Youth Fishing DerbyBogue Inlet Pier, Emerald Isle

Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation presents the 2017 Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 10th from 9-11a.m. at the Bogue Inlet Pier. The event is totally free and open to kids ages 5-12. Great prizes are awarded in categories ranging from Most Unique Fish Caught to Largest Fish Caught. Rods and reels are not provided, but the bait is (while supplies last), or you can bring your own. Pre-registration is required (limited to 100 youth) and runs from May 8th-June 8th. The Town's popular EmeraldFest outdoor concert series is back again this summer with concerts every Thursday evening at 6:30p.m. on the oceanfront at the Western Ocean Regional Access (located off Islander Drive). Bring your family and friends, lawn chairs or a blanket, and enjoy some great music from several different genres.

2nd Annual Bark at the BeachEmerald Isle Western Regional Access

Thursday June 15th from 2-7p.m. Bob 93.3 is broadcasting live at the Western Regional Access at Emerald Isle. They have teamed up with Craven Pamlico Animal Services and Onslow County Animal Services to support our local animal shelters! Donations are being accepted to win an Engels Cooler full of doggie swag, concert tickets and more. Come out for a pawstively howlin’ good time. This event offers free admission and is kid-friendly and family-approved.

- Cleaning wipes (not baby wipes)
- Potty pads
- Laundry detergent
- Mr. Clean/Lysol
- Cat litter
- Dog and cat treats
- Large bones (please no rawhide – not good for the critters!)
Book Signing with Local Emerald Isle Author Tom GillEmerald Isle Books and Toys

Curt and Debbie Finch, owners of Emerald Isle Books and Toys, are proud to again host Tom Gill, local author of the newly released novel, Return to Emerald Isle. This is the sequel to his widely-read novel, The Bridge. Emerald Isle Books and Toys is located at 8700 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle in the Emerald Plantation Shopping Center. Visit the author from 1 to 4p.m. to get signed copies and discuss his current projects.
