The Beaufort Music Festival Celebrates 25 Years

The Crystal Coast is a vacationer's delight because it offers the perfect blend of a beach vacation paradise combined with access to some of the Southern Outer Banks' best waterfront towns, as well as the events, activities and festivals that can be found within them.
25th Annual Beaufort Music Festial
Speaking of festivals, there's a fun one this weekend that offers a trifecta of music, scenery and ambiance. The 25th Annual Beaufort Music Festival comes to town on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. There is always a wide range of diversity when it comes to the festival's musical performances and genreseverything from Americana, R&B, Reggae, Afrobeat, Folk, Bluegrass, Indie and more. Performers range from local to nationally recognized talent. Here's the full Beaufort Music Festival artist lineup. It's jam-packed (pun intended).

Music isn't the only entertainment you'll find here. This year features a Hash Run on Saturday morning beginning at 9:45a.m. at the Grayden Paul Park in Beaufort. Have you ever hashed? It's a little bit of running (or walking), a little bit of socializing, a little bit of imbibing, and a lot of fun. This laid-back event welcomes participants, dogs, and even strollers. There's no experience necessary. The cost is $15 per person. It's a three-mile course around beautiful Beaufort-by-the-Sea and takes about two hours to complete. You can find out more about the details of the Beaufort Hash Run here.

Other Beaufort Music Festival activities include the Beaufort Sister Cities Mural Competition as well as your favorite Beaufort vendors set up along the boardwalk. You'll find apparel, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, foBeaufort by the Seaod, refreshments and more.

Off-site parking can be found at The Boathouse at Front Street Village. There's also the one-dollar Mullet Line Trolley, which runs both days of the festival. Drop off and pick up occur at the corner of Front and Craven streets.

The Beaufort Music Festival runs along Front Street in historic Beaufort encapsulating scenic views of the waterfront and Taylor's Creek. The festival hours are Friday from 5:30p.m. to 10p.m. and Saturday from noon to 10p.m. The free, family-oriented music festival draws both locals and visitors alike. You can keep up with the latest updates on the Beaufort Music Festival Facebook page.

Will we see you there? We hope so!
