Family Beach Vacation on the Crystal CoastThere is plenty of fun to be had during your family beach vacation on the Crystal Coast beach. In addition to the sand, sun and surf, you'll find some of your favorite local attractions like the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Fort Macon State Park, and the North Carolina Maritime Museum.

Friday Free Flicks in Emerald Isle

Emerald Isle Parks and Recreation located at 7500 Emerald Drive offers Friday Free Flicks on the second Friday of each month. Movies are family oriented and open to the public with free admission. The gymnasium at Emerald Parks and Recreation is where the Friday Free Flicks are shown. Movies begin at 7p.m. Bring your own chairs or blankets. Enjoy a drink and some popcorn for only $1. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The movie title for the week is available by calling 252.354.6350 on the Monday of that week. We hope to see you there!

Seaside Cinema in Atlantic Beach

The boardwalk area of The Circle in Atlantic Beach offers a Seaside Cinema each Wednesday night beginning at dusk (approximately 8:30p.m.). Movies at the Seaside Cinema are offered free of charge. Bring your own snacks, chairs and blankets. Pets are not permitted and movies are weather permitting.

Summer Film Fest in Beaufort

The Carteret County Public Library on Live Oak Street in Beaufort in combination with Carteret County Parks and Recreation offers a Summer Film Fest for kids which kicks off on Tuesday, June 17 with Journey to the Center of the Earth showing at 2p.m. in the Beaufort Room at the library. Come inside and enjoy a nice break from the summer heat.

Movies are shown each Tuesday at 2p.m. and are offered free of charge. Children under the age of 8 require adult supervision. Refreshments are provided.
