Fourth of July Fun & Festivities on North Carolina's Crystal Coast
The month of July is here and with it brings a lot of fun and festivities for the July 4th holiday on the Crystal
Coast. We can promise that you will not run out of things to do! Here are some of the events occurring right in Emerald Isle, as well as in the surrounding Crystal Coast area. There's a little something for everyone.

American Flags 
Emerald Isle Fourth of July Fireworks at Bogue Inlet Pier
Step out of your Emerald Isle beach house and onto the beach to view the fireworks display from a distance or come on down to the Bogue Inlet Pier for a bird's eye view of the fireworks beginning at 9p.m. Parking is available at the pier or on NC Highway 58.

July 4th EmeraldFest
Surf-Reggae-Rock band Selah Dubb are the featured performers at the July 4th EmeraldFest running from 6:30-8:00p.m. Bring some chairs or blankets and your favorite fare so you can enjoy live music by the sea. (Alcoholic beverages are not permitted). EmeraldFest performances take place at the Western Ocean Regional Access in Emerald Isle. The site also features volleyball courts, picnic tables and restrooms. Admission is free. Check here for the summer's full schedule of EmeraldFest performers.

Independence Day Fireworks at the Atlantic Beach Boardwalk
Grab your beach chairs and blankets and head to the Circle in Atlantic Beach for the 9p.m. fireworks show. Parking is available but carpooling, walking or biking are encouraged as large crowds and traffic congestion are expected. Alcohol is not permitted in the event area or parking lot. Malt beverages in cups or cans are permitted on the beach strand, but keep in mind that this is a family event and drinking around children is discouraged. Pets are not permitted. Beaufort July 4th Parade & Fireworks Extravaganza
A Beaufort tradition and crowd favorite, the Fourth of July Parade begins at 11a.m. at the fire department and continues through downtown along the beautiful Beaufort waterfront. The parade includes kids, pets, wagons, and so much more. Don't miss it! For further details, call 252.728.3917.

Later in the evening, head over to Gallant's Channel beginning at 6p.m. where the Beaufort Fireman's Association is on hand selling hotdogs, popcorn, soda and water. Bring your own chairs, towels and blankets for the fireworks extravaganza that starts at 9p.m. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 252.838.1525.

Morehead City July 4th Fireworks & Music
The Morehead City fireworks are launched from Sugar Loaf Island at 9p.m. Prior to the fireworks, enjoy live music by The Main Event Band as they perform from 7-10p.m. at Jaycee Park on the Morehead City waterfront. The park is located across from Sugar Loaf Island. For more information on the July 4th event, call 252.726.5083.
Crystal Coast July 4th Fireworks Cruises
Are you looking to spend your July 4th on the water but don't have a boat? Well, we can help you with that. There are several local Fourth of July cruises scheduled that evening leaving from various locations including Atlantic Beach, Beaufort and Morehead City. Discovery Diving's Fourth of July Underwater Bike Race

Speaking of water, are you looking for a really unique way to celebrate the Fourth? How about joining in on an underwater bike race? Yes, you heard correctly. Discovery Dive in Beaufort hosts a Fourth of July Underwater Bike Race annually in support of children's cancer research and benefiting the Children's Mile of Hope.

July 4th Weapons Demonstrations at Fort Macon State Park

For the historic minded and/or the weapons enthusiast, Fort Macon State Park near Atlantic Beach offers a variety of weapons and firearms demonstrations throughout the day on July 4th. Call 252.726.3775 for times.
