Crystal Coast 4th of July: Fireworks, Parades, Cruises & More

The Crystal Co4th of July Fireworks on the Crystal Coast of NCast offers a host of festivities during the Fourth of July holiday. There are plenty of Independence Day celebrations to be had on our beaches and in our towns. Have you made your July 4th plans yet? If not, come and spend it with us. Here's what you can find going on over the Fourth of July on North Carolina's Crystal Coast. There are fireworks displays, town parades, cruises, and more fun activities for the entire family. We hope to see you at one or more of these area events.

4th of July Fireworks Off Bogue Pier

Bogue Inlet Pier begins the fireworks display in Emerald Isle at 9p.m. on Friday, July 4. Parking is available at the pier and along Highway 58. Pick your spot, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the show.

Atlantic Beach July 4th Fireworks

Bring your favorite chair or blanket and find your spot in the sand. The Town of Atlantic Beach fireworks display begins at 9p.m. on Friday at the Circle.

Crystal Coast July 4th Cruises

Reserve your spot on the water for spectacular views of the fireworks and celebrate the 4th in true Crystal Coast style. Enjoy a Fourth of July cruise on the Crystal Coast Lady (enclosed top deck), the Shackleford Lady (catamaran) or The Renegade (pirate ship). Take in the scenic waterfront views, listen to a narrated tour, and celebrate July 4th in a unique and memorable way on the cruise from Beaufort to Morehead City. Cruises depart at 7:30p.m.

July 4th Fireworks Cruise Aboard the Captain Stacy

Cruise the Beaufort Waterfront aboard the Captain Stacy July 4th Fireworks Cruise. The Captain Stacy departs at 7p.m. and anchors in the turning basin for the fireworks show. Call 800.533.9417 for reservations and more information.

Morehead City July 4th Celebration

Jaycee Park on the waterfront  kicks off the Morehead City July 4th Celebration at 7p.m. with live music from The Main Event Band. Dance the night away and stay to enjoy the fireworks display launched from Sugar Loaf Island at 9p.m.

4th of July Downeast Fish-Shrimp Fry

The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center is the place to be for the annual 4th of July Fish-Shrimp Fry. Enjoy fresh local Core Sound shrimp and the catch of the day, plus all of the trimmings and homemade dessert. Eat in or take out. Peruse the bake sale for some goodies to take home with you. The event takes place on Saturday, July 5  from 11a.m. to 6p.m. Active and retired military receive complimentary meals. Local sponsors provide those tickets and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Beaufort July 4th Parade

Beaufort Fourth of July Parade

An annual favorite, historic Beaufort-by-the-Sea holds its traditional July 4th parade on Friday at 11a.m. along the waterfront. The parade grows with each year and features pets, kids, wagons, flags and music. Head to the Carteret County Courthouse located at Turner and Broad Street after the parade for free ice cream.
