While spending your vacation in Emerald Isle this Halloween, there are plenty of ways to get you in the mood for the fun fall season. We’ve found some great fall décor ideas that incorporate the classic southern style to make your vacation rental feel Halloween ready. If you’re stumped for what you or your kids are going to dress up as this Halloween, there are some really fun ways to tie a bit of the coast into your costume. And if you decide that after a day of fun that you want to sit back and relax at your rental, then you can spend a night in with some hot chocolate and some easy Halloween themed crafts. The best parts of these projects though is that they’re fun, easy, and CHEAP!


One of the staple decorations around this time of year is pumpkins. You can pick up a pumpkin from one of the local Farmer’s Markets like Garner Farms, and get to decorating!

For the boys, you can take a gray hoodie and add some teeth along the hood to instantly become a shark!
